Cooking Tips
If you’re not content with the super simple slow cooker steak recipe, you may want to spice things up a little in the kitchen and get creative! Here are four awesome cooking tips you can try to make your slow cooker steak even more delicious: 1 . Check the doneness of your steak using a steak thermometer. This is the only way to ensure your steak is just how you like it and will save any disappointment when it comes to enjoying your meal. 2 . Do not remove the lid of the slow cooker during cooking. This would release the heat and alter the cooking time.3 . If you like your steak super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, you can pan-fry over high heat for a few minutes once it has been slow-cooked, or if you have one, use a cooking torch to flame the outside. 4 . Leave your steak to ‘rest’ once you take it out of the slow cooker. Cover it with tin foil and leave it for five minutes before transferring it to your plate.
